All FC&MCC Members,

I am not sure where to begin, except to say that the Friday night cruise for our wounded soldier was so much more than we expected. Jeremy was so wonderful and was very thoughtful of us and all the other cruisers. We had probably over 100 cars. We lost count as they were parked everywhere. We took in $800 as people were stopping by and just dropping money in for a donation. We had several Veterans that either brought their cars or just dropped by to honor Jeremy. If you did not come on Friday or make it to Brusters on Saturday, you missed one of the most heart warming cruises that we have ever had. Ron and I were so hyped that it was hard to get to sleep or even think about anything else, we really got caught up in the whole thing.

Jeremy's Mom (Brenda) and Grandmother both talked about some of the things that have happened to Jeremy, and we were so glad to meet them and be able to share their hopes and sadness for such a young brave soldier. We also want to thank Brenda (Jeremy's Mom) for the pillows that she made for the club. I will bring them to the cruise on Friday so all can see them.

The other highlight was a book that Tim Clemente brought by for us to give to anyone who donated money for Jeremy. He and a friend are the authors and if you did not see the book at the cruise on Friday night I will bring it by this Friday night. He only gives it out at fund raisers for wounded troops. He also signed them, and most of us also asked Jeremy to sign ours.

I cannot express how we felt and the Plaque that Ron gave me on Saturday was one of the most wonderful things that I have ever received. I want to thank Kim and Pop for doing the 50/50. It was a hard job and they did it on Friday and Saturday. I want to thank Wes for picking Jeremy up and bringing him to the cruise, and for just being Wes. I want to thank Ernest for making sure that the ballots were right, Evelyn, Sue (Kim's mom), Merrell for doing the tickets, and Paul for the pictures and putting numbers on the cars. WOW!!! What a crew we have!

We have lots of new members and we need to let them know that we need their input for our Show on August 9. I have received all the things from Year One. And I will order our Show trophies today. We will be doing the cruise at Fosters the first Saturday of August the 2nd, from 4 to 8pm. I will be sending out e-mails about selling our trophies and things we will need for our Show.
