All FC&MCC Members,

We have lots of new activities coming up in July so please check the web site at: http://www.fredericksburg-car-club.org. We will be hosting a Cruise-In at Fosters Grill on July 5th from 4pm to 8pm. Come if you can we need help with the music and bring your family to eat as we get 20% of the proceeds while we are there. Please tell the cashier that you are with the Cruise-In. We only made $36 from the last Cruise-In as some forgot to tell the cashier they were with the Cruise-In. The show at the Wilderness is back on for the 26th of July, proceeds go to the families of disabled troops. I will be passing out flyers at the Cruise-In on Friday night. Our Cruise-In for a wounded soldier will be on July 11th with rain date of July 18th.

Pop and I have collected $150 for trophies so far. Please ask businesses that you are in contact with to sponsor a trophy. I got one from the telephone man that fixed my home phone. If you don't ask we will have to pay for the trophies out of the club treasury.

I want to thank Gary Sullivan and his son for bringing out flyers and handing them out at the Stafford show. Most of us received trophies but was disappointed that some people received three or more trophies when they had such a good turn out and so many nice cars. The trophies were advertised as the largest trophies and were very nice. We also received trophies at the Father’s Day show at Goldvein on Sunday. We had good member turn-out at both shows and we showed that we are a real club. Most received trophies. Good Job!

Leslie has set up e-mail for me at our Web site so I will be sending out group e-mails. We are still adding members e-mail addresses to the group so if you did not get the first e-mail let me know and we can add your e-mail address to the list.

This meeting coming up will be the last one before our big show so we need everyone to attend. It is still at the Pizza Hut by the college the second Tuesday in July (JULY 8) at 7pm. If you sell any trophies or if you know anyone who would like to set up a vendors stand please let me know right away. If the vendor would like to set up a stand we only charge them to sponsor a trophy. I have a heavy schedule this week and next so e-mail or call after 4pm during the week.
