All FC&MCC Members,



The club was very busy last month. We did a benefit cruise for John Bernard, one for Kyle Preston, and one for Pop. This is what our club is about we love to give back. We are getting ready for our Christmas shopping for needy families. The club will be shopping for Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg social services. The club voted to start with 2 families from each organization and then increase if we have the money. We voted to use $2400 to help out the families. We will do our shopping on Saturday, December 12th and wrap the gifts and have the families pick them up that same day. We will meet at the Walmart at Southpoint at 11 a.m.

Our cruise nights will end on Halloween so dress up yourself and car for a wonderful night of spooking. I want to thank the club for the honor that they gave Harold (POP), he would have been proud of the clubs that showed their respect. I personally want to thank everyone for being there for me. You are the ones that have kept me going. The money that you raised for me at the cruise helped as it has taken a while to get everything straight and to have everything sent. It was appreciated and it was a blessing. I want to thank Wes (wild man) for getting out all the info about Pop and setting up the memorial cruise to Quantico…it was something I will never forget. Pop's brother and sister were amazed at the love that was shown. I want to thank Paul & Evelyn for their help and support they have been there from the beginning of Pop's illness sitting with him or hauling beds or what ever I needed. (love you). Pam and Wess's sister set up all the food at the fire house so a big thanks go out to them…it was nice to have so many friends and family get together in honor of Pop.

Next month is nominations for officers so any one that would like to be an officer now is the time to do it. I will be stepping down from President as I have done my duty or time (lol). Please come to the next meeting as we will want to make sure that everyone has a chance. We will be doing the Spotsylvania Christmas Parade this year so let me know so I can give the organizers a count. We are thinking about changing our meeting place back to VABBQ as we are not having a good showing of members. I will send info as soon as we check with VABBQ. Cruise this Friday night so please attend.
