All FC&MCC Members,



Woo Hoo!!!!!!!! What a turn out for our latest cruise-ins! We had 79 and 75 cars and lots of different ones. Kim has been handling the music and 50/50 raffle and boy what a job she has done! Pop has been doing the 50/50 and is still a little tired but has been staying until close. He is not all the way back yet still tires real fast. We have given away several PIG Trophies and they still seem to be growing (if you know what I mean).

We have brought in about $300 for needy families in this area and are planning on doing a cruise for a wounded troop. This is still in the planning stages, but will probably be in July. We are looking forward to having some cars at the Fosters cruise-in on May 3rd from 2-6pm. All money donated by Fosters will go to needy families. All you have to do is eat something from their restaurant and let them know that we sent you. Wow what a treat!

If anyone can stay and help put up the stereo and tables on Friday night that would be great. I want to thank and apologize to Paul and Evelyn…they have been carrying everything and putting it away without any help. This is not the way we want to run this cruise-in. Please help! We will be buying 3 tables to use as set up for our cruise-in. We plan to use them for future cruise-ins and shows. VABBQ does not have enough tables as they use them for their own use.

Last month’s meeting went well but I am still looking for another meeting place as the Pizza Hut is not working out well. If you can attend any of our meetings please do so as we need more input for cruises and our show.

Our car club came in second place at the McLane Car Show, which is wonderful, but some members did not sign in as members of our club. Whenever you attend a show please sign in as a member. Sometimes we get donations for our club…trophies are okay but money is better. Back to old business of coming to meetings…we need you to give us your ideas on how you want this club to work. It seems that a few of us are making all the plans and hoping we have the backing to make it a success.

If your car is not on our web site please send a picture to our web master and she will put it on for you. This is a busy season with lots of shows coming up. All the shows are listed on the capital cruising web site click on the link and we will see you at most of them. Our next meeting will be May 13th at 7pm.
